Mobile Agricultural Service TechnicianOur client is a Family owned company that has an excellent reputation for looking after it's staff.They specialise in the sales and service of a wide range of machinery; from garden mowers and chainsaws to combine harvesters and construction excavators.We are currently looking for a keen and driven Mobile Agricultural Service Engineer/Technician to join the existing team based in the Cambridge area.Role Purpose:Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you required to perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance work on a variety of Agricultural (but not limited to) products sold by the company's sales departments within its designated area, with particular focus on harvest equipment.We will give you direct access to the manufactures for support and training, as well as the benefit of working with our own experienced team members. You will be working with brands such as New Holland, Bednar, LEMKEN and many more.Essential Skills/Experience:Experience performing and servicing repairs of combines, tractors and associated products in the Agricultural machinery industryAbility to diagnose hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable, warrantable or internal type jobsKnowledge of agricultural machinery or transferable skillsHigh standard of work ethic and attention to detailHas the ability to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a teamAbility to adhere to health and safety practice and procedures at all timesMaintain a good general level of health and fitnessGood general appearanceExcellent customer service skills as this is a customer facing roleFull driver's licenceAdditional InformationStart Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice periodHours: 39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)Overtime above 39hrs per week will be paid at time and a halfSalary: £Competitive, depending on experience, plus company vehicleBenefits:32 days annual leave including bank holidays, Company Sick Pay Scheme, Workplace Pension, Employee Referral Bonus Scheme, Winter Flu Jab Service, Car Tyre Discount, Staff Discount in Country Stores and Life Assurance Cover (2 x salary)
