Job Title: Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Overtime: 1-4 on call 1.5x overtime
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach
- Previous maintenance experience working in FM environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
- Dedication and ambition to develop within the role
- Computer literate and numerate
- To be capable of multi-tasking
- Experience in electrical power distribution systems/lighting systems and fault finding and installation
- Hold a current valid IPAF / MEWP licence
- Ability to cover tasks out with core skill
- 18th Edition electrical regulations
- C&G 2391 or Equivalent
- Must have a F-Gas (FCAT2) Qualification
- C&G 2360 part 1&2 or NVQ Level 3 Multi skilled Mechanical / Electrical (or equivalent)
Day to Day Duties:
- To undertake planned and responsive electrical / mechanical work either independently or supervised - 50% electrical & 50 % air conditioning
- To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group.
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools
- To always operate with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
- To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and ensuring all tasks are completed within contractual timescales, informing the administrator or Contract Lead of any follow up action that may be required
- Ability to complete NICEIC documentation
- Full compliance of handheld technology (PDA & Tablet) using RFM's management system FSI Go
- To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover to the Facilities
- To report all accidents and incidents as per RFM's Health and Safety Policy
- The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
- To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.
- The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
- To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM's operational requirements (must have an understanding of pumps, motors, and fire dampers)
