Mobile Theatre Practitioner

Travel expected to North West, North Wales and West Midlands

£48,000pa

A new fantastic role to join a leading provider of mobile healthcare services, delivering surgical and diagnostic services to NHS and private healthcare providers throughout the UK, has become available. We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner (Scrub/Recovery/Anaesthetics) to join our team to support the delivery of our services across the North West, North Wales and West Midlands regions.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate as a member of the theatre team, providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures• Work across a variety of specialties, including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, and gynaecology• Assist in the set-up, running and decontamination of the mobile theatre unit• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and relevant legislation• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation• Work flexibly across a range of sites and locations, often at short notice• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and build positive working relationships with colleagues, patients and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• NMC or HCPC registered nurse or ODP qualification• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a theatre environment• Experience in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general surgery and gynaecology• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations, infection control policies and relevant legislation• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West, North Wales and West Midlands.
