Description

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • Plan marketing campaigns for both online and offline channels, ensuring effective execution of communications and promotions.
  • Oversee website marketing activities, updates, and promotions to maintain up-to-date, relevant content that drives revenue.
  • Take charge of briefing, testing, and approving customer emails.
  • Ensure all customer-facing communications and collateral are well-written and proofread to a high standard, and consistently implement visual identity guidelines.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to brief them on current and upcoming activities.
  • Work with the broader marketing team to monitor response and conversion rates for all marketing campaigns, create end-of-campaign reports, and evaluate results to enhance future campaigns.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing in developing product positioning and messaging.
  • Monitor and report on website activity to maximise traffic through promotions and campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader marketing team to create a social media calendar and track reach and engagement.
  • Maintain responsibility for budget tracking to ensure controlled marketing spending.

Profile

The ideal Marketing Manager:

  • Possess a minimum of five years of marketing experience, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing effective marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in website content management, along with a solid understanding of SEO and PPC. * Experience in print management and direct mail is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms.
  • Capable of balancing creative creativity with analytic skills.
  • Highly organised and adept at meeting tight deadlines.
  • Based in or a commutable distance to Merseyside.
