Great opportunity to join a leading product based FMCG marketing company as Marketing Manager.
You will need at least three years’ experience in a similar role, and be super knowledgeable about social media. As well as a key eye for design and an appreciation of creative marketing of products. With a degree or equivalent in marketing, design, creative, communications PR or similar, you will have a hands on approach and a can do attitude.
You'll have exceptionally high attention to detail skills and strong commercial knowledge. As well as excellent skills in spreadsheets, strong copywriting ability for press releases, internal communications and social media.
There’s a few important trade shows to attend each year, so you should have some good experience in managing a show, end to end. You’ll need a full driving license and be happy to attend these shows.
The role will include developing and executing the marketing strategy, managing PR and advertising, social media and digital marketing. It’s a hands-on role and will suit a marketing manager who loves product. Someone who can both create the marketing strategy and most effectively manage it. You will work with other internal stakeholders in the group to build and maintain brand awareness. Plus to research, develop and effectively launch new products and ranges.
The role involves aligning the marketing (print, digital and via exhibitions) with the commercial strategy. And NPD launch criteria to ensure that the product offer and customer proposition is in line with business.
Ultimately, you will run the Marketing department and all associated activity (including exhibitions). And in cost effective ways that promote higher profitability, awareness and competitiveness.
