This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious and creative Graphic Designer looking for a new business to grow and develop their skill set with the potential to progress their experience and career into a more well-rounded marketing position, which could ultimately see you building a team around you as we aim to grow our turnover by 30% over the next 3 years. Creativity and commercialism are two key traits we’re looking for in this position.
You’ll develop and maintain consistent brand imagery across all product lines, promotional materials, and digital touch-points, as well as this, you’ll get to design attention grabbing graphics for the website, including product imagery, banners, promotional content, and more.This role will see you collaborate with the sales teams to design promotional materials for email campaigns, social media, and online ads. You will also design physical marketing materials like flyers and leaflets.Of course, you will need solid experience in the Adobe creative suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
We’re looking for an inventive individual who has ideas and wants to run with them. This is a standalone Graphic Designer & Marketing role meaning you will be heading up all design which means lots of autonomy!
Responsibilities:
- Visual Branding: Develop and maintain the visual identity of our brand, ensuring it aligns with the company's core values.
- Graphic Design: Create stunning graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, and social media content.
- Digital Media: Design captivating visuals for the website, email campaigns, and social media channels to engage and captivate the audience.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, Lettings, Land & New Homes to ensure consistent brand messaging and design.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors in the real estate and property industry, incorporating fresh ideas into your designs.
- Social Media: Help formulate social media strategies and implement them, as well as digital marketing and lead generation experience.
Skills:
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio showcasing work.
- Knowledge of print production processes and digital design best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Software & IT Platforms:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficiency in social media software such as Google Analytics, Canva, Hootsuite and Mailchimp
Hours & Location:
4-5 days per week. Working hours are flexible at present and will be considered with each applicant’s aspirations. We envisage around 6-8 hours per day as an early indication.
Hybrid role with part of the week spent in the office (ideally Hitchin or Harpenden.
