In this role, you'll harness the full spectrum of marketing channels to elevate our region's profile, attract investments, and generate leads.Main Responsibilities and Key Activities:
  • Craft compelling social media content to boost our online presence.
  • Curate thought-provoking content and web resources.
  • Support sector leads in executing marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to sector marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in planning and executing events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and creative agencies to create sector-specific materials, presentations, and brochures.
  • Develop and deliver engaging newsletters and e-shots.
  • Create client-facing PowerPoints for the business development team.
  • Deepen your understanding of key sector propositions to enhance content quality across all platforms.
  • Offer support to marketing colleagues on broader initiatives when needed.
Key Skills and Competency Requirements:Essential:
  • Experience in producing marketing collateral and/or organising events.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including B2B social channels and analytics tools.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data for concise reports, e-newsletters, web content, briefings, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in office IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, WordPress, and social media.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous proofreading abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work across a multi-faceted program.
  • Proactive approach to meet targets and deliver high-quality work.
  • Previous experience in a similar B2B marketing role within one of our key sectors.
  • Relationship development in a multi-stakeholder/delivery partner environment.
  • Knowledge of the local community and its public/private sector landscape.
  • Experience or general awareness of place marketing, investment promotion, or economic development.
  • Familiarity with website management and analytical tools.
