Being founded over 50 years ago, this is a registered charity in England, Wales and Scotland, and raises awareness for its cause by running events, challenges, donations and corporate partnerships.Your new roleIf you are looking for a diverse and exciting role in a fast-moving communications team, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As the Marketing Officer, you will create marketing communications for this National Charity that covers a variety of products. You will use your product mindset to put the user's need and experience first, and collaborate with teams across the charity to design communications plans that reach the right audience, with the right content, on the right channels, at the right time, to make the most of the available resources. On any given day, you could be designing a communications plan to boost event registrations, creating a Facebook lead generation campaign, or setting up an email journey to motivate our customers to donate and help improve the lives of individuals they are championing for. What you'll need to succeedIf you are a marketer that has experience in multichannel communications, a mix of social media and more 'traditional' marketing, my client will want you to join their team. - You have the skills to create and edit engaging content and campaigns that reach and persuade our target audiences. - You have experience in running paid marketing campaigns, especially on Facebook, and a good understanding of email marketing.- You will use your marketing knowledge to produce content and campaigns that inspire the charity's customers to take action against cancer. You will also use audience insight and analytics to constantly track and improve campaigns to maximise their impact.- You will be able to work well with others and collaborate on joint projects, and you will have an eye for opportunities to innovate and expand the charity's approaches.
