Job Description:
As a GCSE Media Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE Media (OCR specification).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Utilise technology, including Microsoft Teams and SIMS registers, to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Specialism in GCSE Media with experience teaching the OCR specification (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with SIMS registers and proficiency in Microsoft Teams (highly desirable).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively within a collaborative team.
