Marketing Manager

As a privately owned entity, they have expanded their footprint with branches across the UK.Role Purpose: The Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of marketing, with a focus on online and written content creation. Reporting directly to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality visual and written content, as well as ensuring the currency of existing content. Experience:
- Extensive marketing and design background, proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Proven track record in coordinating internal and external marketing campaigns, including collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a “lightweight marketing strategy role” encompassing offline and online marketing.
- Ability to work independently as a standalone marketing professional, without direct management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in curating content for websites and social media platforms, with a balanced approach to social media engagement.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software for marketing material creation.
- Ability to coordinate marketing campaigns with suppliers and stakeholders, including joint initiatives, internal communications, and case studies.
- Balanced understanding of social media’s role in business, alongside other marketing channels.
- Strategic mindset to develop and execute marketing plans effectively.
- Skill in managing product promotion.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support marketing campaigns across various channels including website, social media, email, and print.
- Create high-quality visual content suitable for digital platforms and print.
- Take briefs for promotions and updates, scheduling content accordingly.
- Produce clear and original copy for diverse purposes, including product descriptions, emails, blog posts, and reports (with SEO optimization when required).
- Liaise with third parties, other marketing departments, and handle PPC/analytics activities.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within allocated budgets.
Key Skill Requirements:
- Proficient in online marketing strategies.
- Strong design and graphics skills using associated software.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in crafting high-quality written content.
- Attention to detail, with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
- Professional experience in social media marketing.
