In your new role as a Marketing Executive, you will be working closely with the Head of Marketing, getting involved with online and offline marketing support, whether it be the conception and delivery of marketing campaigns, the management and design of catalogues, leading website content developments, or driving our digital presence. No day will be the same in this Marketing Department! Duties will include:

  • Ensuring the business social media strategy is executed in the posts that are drafted for your final approval. Monitoring engagement, ensuring KPIs are achieved and reporting on campaign activity with recommendations for development.
  • Acting as the key contact for the external creative agency. Liaising with the Head of Marketing to relay priorities and ensuring the retainer is effectively managed.
  • Leading monthly meetings with Divisional Sales Managers to ensure we are driving the correct activity, communication and supporting our customers with sector specialist equipment.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and Procurement team to seamlessly launch new products.
  • Scoping, briefing and scheduling email marketing campaigns alongside the Head of Marketing as per the eshot calendar.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience with design software including Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
  • Experience of MS Office, Sharepoint software, Social Media and Email
  • A positive and energetic attitude
  • A ‘can do, get stuck in’ approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Clear, concise and confident communicator with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail to deliver high-quality results
  • Copywriting and proofing skills
  • Analytical and data skills
  • Experience of email marketing, website management and social media scheduling software (advantageous)
  • Proven proactive and efficient task management skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and follow-up on projects and action items. (advantageous)
