Events Assistant within a niche, independent law firm with a rich history and rapidly growing marketing and BD function. London with hybrid working.
This Events Assistant will join the growing events function of this boutique law firm, working with an Events Manager, who would be fantastic to learn from! The role will assist with the firm’s event programme and champion the implementation of process and structure for all events. This could include events targeting a range of client sectors including Private Wealth, Start Ups, Not-For-Profit, FS and Education. The role will work closely with the wider BD and marketing team on creating strategic events to target clients in these spaces. This is a great role for someone early on in their career, who is looking to grow and develop. The firm has a great track record of promotions across BD and marketing!
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with full-service end-to-end event management for large-scale events
- Researching venues and suppliers
- Representing the firm on the day at events and handing out badges and ensuring guest lists are correct
- Setting up online events and ensuring rooms are booked for in person events
- Assisting with the invitation process for all events in the firm’s programme including, creating invitations using e-marketing tool (Vuture) and InterAction.
- Ensuring event best practice across the firm and maintaining the firmwide events calendar
- Carrying out event follow up initiatives such as client feedback and recording of attendance
The ideal candidate for this role will be a graduate / administrator with some exposure to events or marketing in a corporate / B2B setting. An interest in the legal sector is essential. And candidates must demonstrate strong time management and communications skills.
