This global law firm has a formidable reputation in the transportation industry with a particular focus on shipping and aviation. It is involved in some really interesting and ground-breaking work. This makes this Senior Business Development Manager (Transport) role all the more interesting.

Working in the sector BD team which is well resourced and headed by a really well-respected leader, you will lead a small team and work across the full marketing mix. Specifically this will involve:

• Working closely with the industry leaders to develop and execute the business plan;
• Identifying new opportunities and working with the partners to capitalise on these;
• Playing an advisory role to partners to ensure that they executive their personal development plans;
• Working with the partners on the key account plan for the group;
• Managing a small number of key clients;
• Running thought leadership campaigns and other profile raising initiatives.

Whilst you do not need experience of targeting the transport sector, you should have a keen interest in this area. You will be either a Senior BD manager looking for a new challenge or an experienced BD Manager ready to take your career to the next level. Experience of working in a major law firm or large accounting/consulting practice is essential for this role.
