This role will lead on the firm’s business development strategy and activity across Europe, and sits on a number of senior boards and committees. The role will involve:
- Lead the development of strategic plans and operational business plans in line with market trends, risks and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities through proactive client management and market insights across the region.
- Identify and co-ordinate cross-selling opportunities and encourage partners to win work in teams.
- Manage, mentor and lead a large team of BD professionals.
The ideal candidate will be operating at a senior level in a Business Development capacity at a law firm or similar professional services organisation. You will demonstrate a track record in strategy and influencing Partners. Experience of working across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas across Europe is essential. In addition, you should have significant client relationship management experience, be an excellent communicator and be able to excite those around you to engage in new strategies. This role can be based anywhere in Europe.
