Role summary:

This role is primarily to develop Sales of ASD products to Key and Target Accounts in the allocated area. They are also responsible for working with the Applications Engineering team to target and convert competitor accounts.

Additional responsibilities but not limited to include development of new and management of exiting accounts, development of Channel activities in the assigned area. Development of and implementation of Key account plans. Forecasting and reporting of sales opportunities together with all account interaction.

The role is extremely important as we want to give our customers a great service and ensure they stay satisfied with the Mitsubishi Electric brand.

A proactive self-development approach is required to ensure development of market and product knowledge.

The role is field based with extensive travel and flexible working conditions.


  • Grow revenue in the nominated Key, Development and Target Accounts
  • Provide and manage a rolling annual business plan for your nominated Key Accounts
  • Have a coordinated plan with the distribution team for indirect key accounts
  • Work closely with the Vertical Accounts Sales Team
  • Increased share of Wallet in Key Accounts
  • Provide effective monthly reporting on your sales activity
  • Provide effective monthly forecasting in the Company CRM system
  • Promote sales of all ASD product and services


  • Must have a recognisable qualification (Degree, HNC, HND etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Mitsubishi products and solutions
  • Full driving license
  • Must have 4 years’ experience in a sales role
  • Must have at least 4 years in a field-based role
  • Can manage customers sales development without supervision
  • Good communicator
  • Self-sufficient
  • Team player
