We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Peterborough. This is an office-based role for a talented, organised team player who can communicate effectively with key clients, suppliers and staff members.

Your Role:

  • Boost Client Spend: Help clients maintain and grow their spend with us.
  • Product Expert: Use your knowledge to give clients the best advice and solutions.
  • Team Player: Support our sales team by processing orders and handling tasks while they need support with.
  • Communicate: Connect with clients via phone and email, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Order Management: Take and process orders, follow up on quotes, and research client enquiries.

What You Need:

  • Proactive Attitude: Take the initiative and manage tasks independently.
  • Technical Know-How: Background in carpentry, construction, or DIY is a big plus.
  • Deadline Focused: Good with deadlines and IT tools.
  • Sales Savvy: Experience in sales and customer solutions.
  • People Skills: Excellent at building relationships and communicating.
  • Organised: Strong organisational skills and problem-solving abilities.
