Are you looking to gain experience in the workplace and put your degree knowledge into practice by engaging both internal and external audiences? Would you like to use your marketing and communications skills to help us raise awareness of our lifesaving work?

We are looking for a creative and committed person to help us achieve our mission of doing everything in our power to protect, save and revive lives. You will get hands-on experience planning and delivering engaging and informative communications, putting your knowledge into action as part of a dynamic and creative team. You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of our internal communications, research content and stories, as well as support the execution of media and PR plans and marketing campaigns across all channels including digital.

This role will provide experience across all areas of marketing and communications - from campaign planning to PR, internal communications, and brand.

Marketing & Communications Assistant Requirements:

If you’re currently studying for a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, with a sandwich year starting August 2022, this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable multi-tasking and working as a team to achieve a common objective. You should have strong copywriting and communication skills and be confident working without constant supervision. You need a good working knowledge of digital communications channels and a close attention to detail, to assist with proof-reading and editing.

Most importantly, we’re keen to see willingness to learn and take on new challenges with a high level of interest and passion for our cause. Our patients are at the heart of everything we do, so the right candidate should also be able to show sensitivity and understanding of our work.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance is one of the UK’s leading air ambulance charities. We continuously push the boundaries of medical intervention, helicopter aviation and on-scene patient care to deliver a unique emergency service to patients, where and when it is most needed.

Location: Stokenchurch, nr High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP14 3SX
Contract Type: Fixed Term
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum plus competitive benefits
