Your new role
As a Communications Manager you will Coordinate and deliver a dedicated professional 'best practice' communications and engagement service to project teams involved with the delivery of the relevant regional capital investment programme, including the establishment of brand-new channels (e.g. regional stakeholder events and newsletters). You will oversee the delivery of project communications plans that capture all scheme milestones and support requirements. This includes the provision of templates, checklists and guidance, as well as assurance, editing and proof reading. You will identify and monitor spending on communications activities by project teams and maintain good relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrable experience as a communications professional with a good understanding of the wider communication context, you will have specialist communications knowledge and experience underpinned by relevant professional qualifications or training. You will have a proven track record of managing communications in a programme delivery environment, preferably in a large scale infrastructure delivery sector. You will be able to evidence effective stakeholder relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills, and be able to demonstrate effective people management skills
