Webshop Administrator role, Full time, £18k - £20k

Your new company

Your new company will be an electrical goods wholesaler in the Cardiff region. They have sites all over the UK with a heavy focus on the South Wales region and are planning on expanding through the form of the online webshop that this role is made available for. The headquarters that are located in Cardiff is the site you will be working at housing the majority of the office team including: finance, HR and sales with a distribution warehouse also located on site allowing you to get the experience of the entire business everyday allowing ease of communication when assembling the webshop.

Your new role

This role will consist of you coming in to collate data in the form of pictures, product descriptions and price to assemble a webshop that is linked to the company inventory system. You are to work in the office exclusively until the webshop is up and running. Liaising with various departments to collate the relevant information. When the products have been purchased, you are expected relay information to sales team to them distribute the products. Look to then collate emails and mobile numbers to contact potential and existing customers building the client market. Conduct up to date market research and ensure social media sites are regularly updated with information and products. Once the webshop has been established, create a marketing strategy for seasonal and holiday themed promotions throughout the year and use initiative to act on other commercial opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

The candidate must be very organised and show initiative to make the webshop as accessible and user friendly as possible to increase gross sales. They must be autonomous and able to organise their time effectively as there is no marketing department although you will have support from management you should be able to apply yourself without prompt. Experience in digital marketing or well organised administration experience.

What you'll get in return

Salary is £18k-£20k and may even become a temporary role based on the expected length of the project being around 12 - 18 months. On site parking. A great opportunity for somebody looking to get their foot in the door in a marketing department working on the promotion and monitoring of sales through eCommerce route.
