About Account Manager Role: As the Account Manager in the Communications PR Agency, you will be responsible for providing clear advice for their Financial Services clients. As Account Manager you will be responsible for: Planning and executing engaging PR Strategies Building strong client relationships and encouraging your team to do the same Driving the accounts and managing the team Bolster your clients brand reputation Building and maintaining strong media contacts Taking the lead on PR planning and creative brainstorming Editing and approving press release, leadership articles, case studies Managing crisis situations - checking and approving client PR activity reports Managing the PR aspects of any crisis situations (“Crisis Comms”) Monitoring press coverage, flagging any under-performing accounts and taking action to secure additional coverage Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager Role: As the Account Manager you are responsible for: Getting under the skin of your clients, to establish/confirm their strategic goals Building a strong and cohesive team, who are all working together for the same purpose Driving account activity according to the agreed PR plan and Proactively identify PR opportunities for clients Coaching the account team to achieve the best results for clients The Ideal Account Manager: This role could suit someone who is currently an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager in a smaller agency or Senior Account Executive with some management expereince. To quickly become a successful Account manager and productive member of the team you, will need to have a friendly, outgoing personality, calm and totally professional. Be ambitious, fun and outgoing, educated to degree level and equivalent work experience or professional qualifications. Have a true love for communication and desire to be part of a fast moving and growing business. Essential Skills and Competencies of the Account Manager: Experience as a Senior Account Executive or Account Manager, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
