Your new company

A multi-award winning, leading global distributor of renewable energy components who have experienced immense growth over the last couple of decades. This company has been continuously recruiting over the last few years as a result and this is a brand new role to join one of the fastest growing and most exciting sectors out there- renewable energy.

Your new role

-Gathering and reporting back on competitor intelligence weekly and generating actions

-Gathering and reporting back on industry / market intelligence weekly, suggesting content for news stories and feeding insight into relevant department

-Analysing marketing activities and creating benchmarks

-Collating quarterly activity reports for manufacturer reviews

-Identify opportunities to sell marketing space

-Work closely with Solar Energy UK industry body to keep close to policy and trends - sharing information internally where relevant

-Attending industry events

-Support our Digital Executive in web updates and ad campaigns

-Proof reading content Contribution to internal and external events and training

-Supporting with invoicing and financial reporting

What you'll need to succeed

Agility is key, the ideal candidate needs to be both ambitious and a self-starter who can proactively manage their own workloads. Your presentation skills must be strong as the reports you generate will be shared with senior management, suppliers and customers. Experience in Microsoft office (essential) Google analytics (desired) Word press (desired) Data Mining and data visualisation experience (desired). Looking for a marketing professional with some experience to make the role their own and grow with the company.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available with the option to work mostly remotely. In addition to this, the company offers a quarterly bonus which totalled around £4k most recently. Pension contributions of a matched 5%, and 22 days of annual leave which increases by one day annually for every year of service for the first three years.
