Business Development Executive aligned to Energy, Infrastructure & Resources. Full mix and international role with bids and hybrid working scheme. Leading global law firm. Not pitch heavy.
This exciting and varied Business Development Executive role sits within the EMEA Marketing & Business Development function at this leading global law firm. The role provides support to the partners in the Energy, Infrastructure and Resources sector group. This will include involvement in client development, BD meetings and activity, campaign management, pitches, and events. There are some exciting changes in the team, the firm are hiring a global head of infrastructure and natural resources, so it is an exciting time to join.
Key responsibilities
- Working with the sector leadership team to plan and implement business development and marketing activity across all channels.
- Establishing a close and effective relationship with the lawyers and partners within the sector
- Working on profile raising initiatives such events, campaigns, newsletters, directory submissions and other marketing materials.
- Acting as a key point of contact and ambassador for the sector with the wider business, MBD and other key stakeholders.
Experience in marketing and business development is desirable, as is experience of working in a legal/professional services/partnership environment. Anyone with a passion for energy and infrastructure is desirable, but this is not essential. You will need excellent written and oral communication skills, including good attention to detail. Experienced in managing and writing bids is essential for the role. The firm are supportive of the CIM qualification and anyone currently in the process of completing this.
