The Company

This is a fantastic opportunity in a large and growing FMCG Marketing function where there are plenty of opportunities for career development.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Insight Manager, this is a great foot-in-the-door chance to forge a career in insight and category management from a FMCG perspective.

The role includes:

  • Data analysis and regular performance reporting
  • Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends across our categories
  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions - and convert in to a "sowhat"
  • Preparing presentations and present results to marketing team, sales teams, category team and management
  • Assisting in Brand and Portfolio planning

The Individual & their Experience

  • Essential - Qualified to degree level or experience in a similar role
  • Essential - Strong logic, maths/ analytical skills are essential
  • Essential - Experience of analysing data, charting data, writing reports and presenting findings
  • Essential - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint essential
  • Desirable - Nielsen Experience
  • Desirable - Experience of working in business, marketing, or sales ideally in FMCG
  • Desirable - Some experience of market research methods
