The Opportunity
Reporting into the Insight Manager, this is a great foot-in-the-door chance to forge a career in insight and category management from a FMCG perspective.
The role includes:
- Data analysis and regular performance reporting
- Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends across our categories
- Measuring the effectiveness of marketing activities
- Gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions - and convert in to a "sowhat"
- Preparing presentations and present results to marketing team, sales teams, category team and management
- Assisting in Brand and Portfolio planning
The Individual & their Experience
- Essential - Qualified to degree level or experience in a similar role
- Essential - Strong logic, maths/ analytical skills are essential
- Essential - Experience of analysing data, charting data, writing reports and presenting findings
- Essential - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint essential
- Desirable - Nielsen Experience
- Desirable - Experience of working in business, marketing, or sales ideally in FMCG
- Desirable - Some experience of market research methods
