An integral part of our Ecommerce team, you will build, socialise and deliver the content marketing strategy for all online channels, planning and delivering high impact marketing content that defines our customer experience. Leading a team of content creators, you’ll drive organic growth, deliver profitable marketing campaigns, and continuously evolve and improve our digital presence and capabilities, strongly contributing to a stretching year on year growth plan for our eCommerce platforms.

A creative, strategic and hands on role, you'll need to be resourceful and at ease at a strategic and delivery level.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing key internal and external relationships you will lead the development and delivery of a long term strategy for engaging and growing priority audiences online
  • Brand custodian across eCommerce platforms, you’ll ensure seamless content delivery and storytelling which embodies our brand and speak to a diverse audience across each campaign photography, banner creation, online copy-writing, email production, and social media
  • Manage a team of content creators, supporting the development of their capabilities to benefit the brand and wider eCommerce team
  • You will plan, create, and execute high impact multi-media content that achieves campaign and business as usual KPIs.
  • Identify and improve the organic performance of our direct to consumer websites. You will be responsible for user journey and experience, this includes the creation and implementation of landing pages, blogs as well as working with external partners to improve the technical performance of the website in relation to SEO
  • Identify new and innovative technologies and tactics for engaging customers
  • Govern content by implementing and managing content marketing guidelines, specifications, and processes
  • Working globally as a key point of contact for colleagues in the US, Continental Europe, and Australia, ensuring alignment on process and strategy for content creation

To be successful you will need:

  • Have previous experience of digital marketing, ideally focusing on content which drives both organic and targeted growth
  • Has a strong understanding of digital marketing and always learning as things evolve
  • Previous experience of marketing/content management for a FMCG, creatively led business
  • Working knowledge of macro and micro trends influencing your business and target audience and how to apply these to maximize campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Be creative and comfortable leading and developing a team of specialists, adapting management style to individual requirements
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
  • Strong storytelling abilities, both written and verbal, with experience of bringing to life campaigns for diverse audiences, using a range of voices, consistent tone of voice and synonymous with the brand you represent
  • Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to measure the impact of the teams output
  • Develops strong, positive relationships, effective linkage and integration with key partners internally and externally
  • Engaging and inspiring, translating data into tangible insights and objectives, comfortable presenting to leadership and able to communicate things concisely
