Our client is looking for a Marketing Operations professional with a specialism in digital platforms to set up the digital strategy for the business and work across the EMEA group and with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure the business has an optimised and always on digital presence across all consumer touch points across a portfolio of well known and loved family brands.
The core purpose of the role is to develop and deliver innovative and fully optimised digital templates and supporting tools – showcasing best practise across the digital estate to EMEA markets, with a focus on website design, UX/UI, SEO, data collection & CRM, e-commerce, with particular focus on consumer activation and engagement.
The role will report into a Marketing Operations Director and form part of a newly formed Marketing Operations team, alongside peers that will look after media effectiveness and campaign production, for example.
The Marketing Operations Manager will be accountable for the digital roadmap, operations digital budget and the effective roll out of digital templates across all EMEA markets. They will also be the key contact for third-party agencies with particular focus on SEO and digital development.
It’s a very fast paced consumer business and you will need to be able to work in a speedy and agile manner. Our client is expecting someone to come in and take charge quickly. As this is a brand new role there is a real opportunity to come in and build out the digital strategy for our client and in time the team will expand further.
Experience, skills and knowledge:
- Agency management experience
- Regional or global marketing experience within an FMCG environment
- Multi-website management and technical management of high traffic sites.
- Knowledge of Sitecore
- A good understanding of SEO
- Great stakeholder management and negotiation skills
