Communications Manager – new growth role in dynamic financial services organisation. Varied mix of external and internal comms. Hybrid working.
This dynamic financial services organisation is a really exciting place to work. The marketing and communications team is actively growing and the Head of Communications is looking to recruit a Communications Manager. In this role, the focus will be on media relations and external communications but you will also be involved in internal communications.
On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve:
- Assist with the smooth running of the press office:
- Building and managing relationships with key journalists;
- Writing press releases and related social media content;
- Media training;
- Crisis communications:
- Support on internal comms across all area of the business. This will include key messaging, using appropriate channels and content development.
The role offers excellent career progression and hybrid working.
You will have a really strong background in PR and media relations, ideally within financial or professional services or come from an agency dealing with FS or PS accounts. Those from a journalistic background are particularly welcome to apply.
