We are looking for a Temporary Events Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of events for an inspiring health charity. You will need experience working with Third Party events , budgets , KPI and tracking experience .Remote or Hybrid (1/2 days in London )The RoleOwnership and management of the events fundraising portfolio, ensuring first class pre-, during and post-event supporter care and stewardship for all participants and maximising fundraising income in line with pre-set budgets.Delivery of growth in net income from fundraising events and budgetary responsibility for all new and existing fundraising eventsManage the development, implementation and evaluation of all events fundraising activities. Lead on the delivery of a number of events from the agreed portfolio; both owned and third-party events. Responsibilities to include researching an events feasibility, planning, marketing, recruiting participants, and evaluation.Providing high levels of supporter care; ensuring overall fundraising targets are met or exceeded for each event. Take budgetary responsibility for all events fundraising activity, including monthly income and expenditure updates, quarterly reforecasting and budget development for 2024-25.Maintain working arrangements with internal colleagues to deliver on- and offline promotional materials to maximize return on investment in fundraising events.Manage and monitor all supporter journey processes associated with events fundraising (including all online registration platforms) by working with colleagues in the Data Services and Fundraising Operations teams, as well as third party suppliers and partners, such as London Marathon Events Ltd, Realbuzz and Sports Tours InternationalReview all supporter journeys and stewardship plans currently in place and make any necessary changes to ensure that that stewardship and supporter experience is at a sector-leading level.Oversee the logistical planning, charity place allocation process and participant stewardship for the 2024 and 2025 London Marathon.The CandidateGood understanding of the current landscape and trends as regards mass participant fundraising events Good understanding of fundraiser motivations and supporter retentionMonitoring of income and expenditure budgets Project planning, delivery and evaluation of highly successful fundraising events First class customer relationship management including database management and supporter care Raisers Edge experience is desirable but not essential Identifying and devising suitable marketing and communications through traditional and new media Experience of working with multiple agencies and suppliers Online communications platforms like DotMailer IMPORTANT NOTEOur aim is to respond to all successful applications within 5 days.
