Job Title: Events and Outreach Officer

Location: London, N1 (Some work from home)

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week Role: Permanent Salary: £22,400 - £30,000 (depending on experience) Qin Recruitment is working with an award-winning music school based in London, Los Angeles, Ibiza, Mumbai, China and online. The school specialises in Higher Education and professional courses in subjects including Music Production and Sound Engineering, DJing, Singing and Song writing, Music Industry Management, and Radio Production and Broadcasting.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Events and Outreach Officer who has a passion for music and education and is driven by supporting students in reaching their full potential through the delivery of informative, inspiring and impactful recruitment and in-house engagement activities.

The Events and Outreach Officer will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the Widening Participation Manager to identify new opportunities for outreach and recruitment programmes and is responsible for developing and delivering resources for school prospects to ensure that they are well equipped to make decisions on their chosen programme. The postholder will be planning and delivering a range of events, opportunities, information, and activities for a range of audiences across multiple platforms (virtual, onsite / offsite) each year.

The role is heavily focused on communications with prospective and hard to reach students so you will need exceptional communication and inter-personal skills and will need to be comfortable hosting internal and external events across varying formats (virtual / onsite / on camera). The post holder will also be required to help with internal and industry events to help support current students and the schools brand.
