Customer Marketing Executive

Department: Marketing

Location: Manchester St James

Contract: Permanent and Full-Time (Hybrid role: minimum of 3 days a week at our Manchester St James office, 2 days at home)

Providing excellent customer service by contributing ideas to marketing campaigns

The post holder will support the Senior Customer Marketing Manager at delivering campaigns that acquire new B2B clients, reactivate existing B2B clients or increase the number of products existing B2B clients buy. This role is key for the delivery of marketing communications that promote our brand and programmes, support the sales team, and facilitate a positive customer experience. As a pivotal member of the broader marketing team, the post holder such must possess excellent stakeholder and project management skills to contribute to the ease of implementation of activities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Continually evolving our key target audience personas, including identifying their needs and role within the buying cycle, across multiple industries and products.
  • Identifying integrated marketing channels to drive awareness and lead generation opportunities for target personas relevant to target industries and products.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analysing digital and offline data sources.
  • Collate and manage collateral updates from across the business, and work with key stakeholders within marketing, to ensure timely delivery of assets; specifically, owning all product-level detail and the end-to-end creation and implementation of all associated assets.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials for business stakeholders, identifying needs and assessing opportunities for process flow improvements
  • Play a proactive role in identifying key messaging updates from the business for the target audiences including any compliance/regulatory requirements.
  • Providing market and industry level insights to benchmark activity.
  • Staying up to date and in-check with marketing best practice, and continually share innovative ideas and contribute to identifying areas for improvement across the group’s workflow.

  • Significant B2B marketing experience, preferably in the education / apprenticeship market
  • A passion for marketing, with a can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills / cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Manage multiple projects, for on-time delivery
  • Competence in MS Office
