The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Internal Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team.
We are looking for an Internal Communications Coordinator to help us deliver our internal communications and engagement activities. This position plays an important role in communicating staff and student achievements and events, supporting the promotion of key internal campaigns and working with colleagues across the University to ensure staff and students have the information and resources they need.
This role is a perfect fit for someone with strong written and verbal communication skills and able to formulate an idea into a strong and easy to understand message. The successful candidate will utilise the University’s communication channels to share messages ensuring they reach the right audience in a timely manner. They will also support the Internal Communications Manager in helping develop strong communication across the University.
Key responsibilities will include developing awareness of services available to students and staff, help deliver key information to staff to better the student experience and operate in a way that increases and enhances the university’s purpose on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal skills, all round IT skills, include MS windows packages, PowerPoint and Photoshop. Ideally they will have experience in communicating with a wide and varied audience and a history in using social media.
