Our client, a countryside charity, is looking for an organised and enthusiastic web person who can manage their WordPress platform day-to-day and work on its technical roadmap with their content strategist and technical support agency.
Salary: circa £30,000
London N1 7NH office based but the ability to work 2-3 days from home
As they finalise the rolling out of their new brand web template to their local groups this is a great time to help them move into the next stage of improving their user experience and supporting their campaigners as they seek to grow the charity.
You will be technically confident in using a CMS, preferably WordPress, and it would be useful if you have worked with volunteers and/or contractors. You will be happy in getting to grips with new software and plugins, words and images – moving or otherwise – as well as making sure their website performs well and is integrated with the charity's other digital channels. As well as playing a full role in the Engagement and Income department, you will liaise with other teams to create seamless and accessible user journeys for their supporters.
They place high value on equality. They treat everyone with respect and consideration because they know it’s the right thing to do. They also know that diverse teams make much better decisions, are more creative and more stimulating to work in. So, if you join them, you will be able to help them put equality, the environment and diversity at the centre of everything they do. They hope you like the sound of the job and will take the time to apply!
