My client based in Camberley is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their small friendly UK team. You will be covering the marketing for the UK and as part of the wider company there are also marketing teams in Germany, the US and Australia. This is a really varied role and after a period of time the company would be happy to sponsor you to do the Chartered Institute of Marketing course.

Responsibilities:

1. E-Mail Marketing: Assist in the creation, execution, and analysis of email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms. Collaborate with the marketing team to design compelling email templates, optimize content, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

2. Proofreading: Review and proofread marketing materials, ensuring they are error-free, grammatically correct, and align with the company's branding guidelines.

3. Social Media Management: Support the management of our English speaking social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, and engaging with the audience. Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for increased brand visibility.

4. CRM Maintenance: Assist in maintaining our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Ensure accurate data entry, update customer profiles, and generate reports as required.

5. Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and relevant content, with and without the use of AI, for various marketing channels, including website blog posts, social media updates, and email campaigns.

6. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide valuable insights for marketing strategies.

7. Analytics and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, social media activities, and email marketing efforts. Prepare reports to evaluate key metrics and suggest improvements.

8. Event Support: Help organise and coordinate marketing events and promotional activities, both online and offline, to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

9. Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and design, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with company objectives and overall strategy.

10. Creative Initiatives: Contribute innovative ideas to enhance marketing efforts and improve brand visibility.

Requirements:

Previous experience using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with various social media platforms and their management tools.

Basic knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Strong organisational and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

A creative mindset with a flair for content creation and design is a plus.

A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
