Job Summary
Job Description
Young, fast-growing, diverse, award-winning. Just some of the adjectives to describe this employer which sits in the EdTech industry. Their business is moving to the next stage and whilst they’ve got a decent sized marketing team already, they’re looking for a couple of additional superstars to join the team, one of which is a Digital Marketing Executive.
The role:
This is quite simply, a broad, digital marketing role. You’ll be doing a lot of the actual 'doing’ on campaigns and projects but will get involved with all stages of planning and coordination as well as strategy and planning. You’ll be a writer and a content creator, happy to develop both written and video content, as well as perhaps generating case-study ideas where you’re doing a little bit of interviewing. You’ll be working on SEO and analytics making sure all of the website content is up to scratch and accurate as well as generating email campaigns. This company retains a couple of agencies to assist them with their work and you’ll need to be in contact with them on a regular basis. You might also get involved with Podcast planning affiliate and influencer marketing as well as creating landing pages.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll definitely have at least a couple of years’ experience under your belt in a digital marketing role and you’ll probably already be doing a similar role in a client side or agency based role. You’ll be interested in learning, this role would definitely suit someone who loves the challenge of googling how to do something new and then running with it. You’ll be assertive and will love an environment which works hard and plays hard. It’s a fully open plan office which is loud and exciting, so if you’re the type of person who needs constant peace and quiet and a little corner office, this probably won’t be for you! You’ll also need to be accurate; there’s a lot of compliance within the sector and you’ll need to ensure you’ve checked and proofed everything. Experience of SEO, Google Analytics, Social Media, are all pretty essential.
What’s on Offer?
So, this is a role which can offer lots and lots of progression. It’s a young company as we’ve said but it really is taking itself to the next stage and wants people who are happy to come along for the ride! They’re a very sociable company with lots of nights out and trips abroad for rewards. The marketing team works on a hybrid basis, but only after the successful completion of your probationary period so you should expect to be in the office 5 days per week initially; this will be to your benefit as there is a huge amount of information to learn. They’re saying salary is £25k but if you can justify why you’re perfect for the role and worth more, there’s definitely a point in applying!
