Are you a passionate and skilled Digital Media and Art teacher seeking a fulfilling long-term opportunity? We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Teacher of Digital Media and Art at an esteemed secondary school located in the picturesque town of Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The position is set to commence on Monday, 6th January 2024, and will continue on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality Digital Media and Art lessons to secondary school students.
- Inspiring and motivating students to explore their creativity and develop technical skills in digital media and art forms.
- Planning and implementing engaging and effective teaching strategies in both digital media and traditional art mediums.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress to provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Digital Media, Art, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of digital media tools and software, as well as traditional art techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in the creative process.
Salary: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, paid to scale, commencing from the start date of Monday, 6th January 2024.
