Digital Support Apprentice

Over the years, Highland Game has successfully created awareness and sales of venison – daily supplying ASDA, Aldi, Coop, Lidl, Morrisons, Tesco and Waitrose as well as to manufacturers and distributors of the catering and restaurant trade in the UK including Costco, Booker as well as on the continent.
They are looking to expand their team by onboarding a confident and keen apprentice, and it could be you!
Responsibilities:
- Processing written and verbal orders onto Sage software. You will become an expert on this system
- Monitoring Sage usage, ensuring all orders are entered on the correct account and processing orders to invoice correctly and sending to customer using Sage
- Acting as the first point of the contact, dealing with a variety of different queries from customers/suppliers, over phone and email
- Becoming proficient on EDI system for retail orders, which includes orders placed and ongoing orders
- Completing spreadsheets in a timely manner and accurately on MS Excel
- Taking incoming calls and forwarding to the correct department
Required skills:
- Numerate and literate
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- PC literate – must have experience in Excel
- Good organisational skills
- Must be able to drive or live nearby to office (due to location)
Salary:
£15,000 per annum
Working hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 3pm or 8am – 4pm (hours will vary depending on off/on season)

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.
On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
