P4 Recruitment are looking for a Digital Business Development Manager to work with our client based in Preston. The role itself is hybrid with three days working from home and they have a very competitive commission structure.

As a Digital Business Development Manager, your primary objective is to identify new opportunities and influence companies’ media buying habits, specifically focusing on digital media/advertisement usage. You’ll be pivotal in driving digital sales across our clients portfolio, exceeding revenue targets by spotting new avenues and exploiting market trends. This role demands a proactive approach in developing business through revenue growth, yield enhancement, and customer base expansion across various client action groups.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own, support, and develop the digital client base.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Sales Manager to ensure revenue and yield growth.
  • Conduct sales presentations through various mediums to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Grow, service, and maintain key accounts effectively.
  • Advise on the most suitable solutions within the clients portfolio, emphasising digital sales.
  • Continuously seek and develop new sales opportunities in collaboration with the Digital Sales Manager.
  • Achieve pre-set sales targets contributing significantly to business performance.
  • Identify customer needs and buying habits through thorough investigation.
  • Manage booking and inputting of orders, including advertisement setting and amendment.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated with a keen eye for new opportunities.
  • Background in Digital Sales or Media Sales is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess a natural inquisitive nature and optimistic approach.
  • Ability to deliver effective face-to-face presentations to high-level decision-makers.
  • Represent the business at industry events and trade shows.
  • Understanding of the agricultural sector is desirable.
  • Target-driven and efficient with a strong product portfolio knowledge.
  • Ability to accurately forecast future sales.
  • Stay updated on current trends, activities, and news within agriculture and relevant sectors.
  • Maintain the highest professional standards and adhere to legal regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft packages.
