Creative Support Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting for a creative support assistant to work within SEN schools and Alternative provision in and around SE27. This is a full time and long term opportunity for the right candidate.

For this role you will be a creative individual with previous experience within Art / Dance / Music, a creative, outgoing and enthusiatic mindset wiill allow you to succeed in this role as a support assistant.

You will be required to assist with the delivery of daily lessons and support small groups of children across both core and foundation lessons. The pupils do have a range of special educational needs which will need to be supported on a 1:1 basis where they will follow an EHCP plan to help reach pupils individual goals.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
