Harmonic is excited to be working with an industry leading company within the UK TV & Film Industry that are recruiting for an Communications & PR Manager, in a newly created role in line with the growth of the business.

The Company:

Since inception in the early 2000’s, this our client have scaled exceptionally with revenues growing year on year and headcount growing to circa 200 employees. Immersed in the production of world class content from films, tv series, music videos and commercial adverts, the business are associated with some of the most well known content created throughout the last 15 years.

The business also have partners that have spent hugely successful careers in the creative space, and as such are in a fantastic position to continue their outward expansion. With new studios being constructed in the north of England and a new HQ also being developed, this really is an awesome time to be involved in the company.

The Role:This newly created role, in line with the fantastic growth and internal culture of internal development, is an exciting opportunity for outward facing candidates keen to join one of the fastest growing production businesses in the industry. Working closely with a strong team in the UK and counterparts in the USA, this role will offer great opportunities for autonomy and to take the lead on internal and external communication strategies. The successful candidates will be focused on liaising with PR agencies, planning social media strategies, and managing award submissions and logistics, amongst the core duties listed below.

The Duties:

  • Manage social media strategy and presence to boost engagement and brand awareness.
  • Develop comprehensive internal and external communication strategies.
  • Manage internal communications, including weekly updates on production and events
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to internal messaging
  • Liaise with PR firms to coordinate public relations efforts and enhance company visibility.
  • Organize and oversee the logistics of conferences, awards, and festivals, including table purchases and award applications.
  • Work closely with the Communications and Brand Manager in the US to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.
  • Monitor industry trends and maintain relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage.

What we’d like to see (Essential):

  • University qualification (2.2 or higher)
  • Experience running social media campaigns

What we’d like to see (Bonus):

  • Previous experience in the TV, Film or Media Industry
  • Previous experience in the PR industry

Salary: Up to £40,000

Location: London
