Job Description
Youth Marketing Manager
Chalk Farm, London
About the Roundhouse:
A lot of people know the Roundhouse for our incredible history, but our future is just as exciting. Our home is a unique heritage building that has a rich history built on counter-culture, revolutionary theatre and life-changing music moments. But we’re building on that legacy and independent venue spirit. The Roundhouse Creative Studios - a creative space for young people - is a home for young Londoners where the next generation of creatives are using their talent and their voice to change the world around them.
Our youth programme is already ambitious, and we’re looking to grow significantly over the next 5 years. We currently engage with just over 7,000 young people aged 11-30 every year, and by 2025 we want to increase this number to 15,000. We’re also about to open a new building that will include a dedicated co-working space for entrepreneurs and freelancers in the creative industries aged 18-30.
About you:
We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own skills, experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same.
The Role:
We’re recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Youth Marketing Manager to join our team at a crucial moment in the expansion of the Roundhouse youth programme. This role will be instrumental in driving forward campaigns to increase the number of young people we work with yearly in our existing creative studios and in our new building that includes a creative coworking space, due to open in late 2022.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate significant experience of devising and delivering impactful campaigns that speak to young people and inspire them. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, tons of ideas, and the ability to independently devise and deliver multi-channel campaigns. The ideal candidate should also be interested in current marketing trends and interested in innovation and using digital channels to engage young people. We’re looking for someone who is creative, but also interested in data, able to, continually review the success of marketing initiatives and strive to improve the targeting and effectiveness of youth marketing.
Alongside running marketing campaigns this role will support our education and community teams to effectively market to young people in schools, and through meaningful community partnerships and outreach. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting all young people to access creativity, removing barriers and finding ways to promote our offer from a diverse mix of young people and those from more challenging backgrounds.
