Location: Home based/remote working
Salary: from £35,000 to £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Skilled youth workers build relationships that support young people to explore their personal, social, and educational development. Youth work enables young people to develop their voice, influence, and place within society.
As the national body for youth work, they have a dual function. They are the professional, statutory, and regulatory body (PSRB) responsible for qualifications, quality standards and safeguarding for youth work and services in England. In line with their charity mission and aims, they also champion youth work through research, advocacy, campaigns, and programmes.
About the Role
The Digital Marketing and Content Manager will work closely with their Head of Communications, the wider comms team, and key internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to drive engagement, awareness and support for their work and quality youth work more broadly.
A highly motivated and insights driven marketer with a track-record for planning, executing, and analysing effective content and digital marketing campaigns, you will position them as the go-to source of comment on issues relating to youth work.
You will have experience of multichannel marketing including social media, websites, email and paid media, and will be able to identify opportunities to enhance user experience and engagement based on current digital trends and insights.
It is an exciting time to be joining them as they grow the communications team as part of the newly formed Policy and Communications Directorate. Your role will be vital in helping to champion great youth work and its value and importance for young people across England.
You will:
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to support new training, resources and events
- Develop a social media and content strategy aligned to their organisational objectives.
- Plan and oversee the production and delivery of content including video, infographics and other dynamic content to enhance their marketing activity
- Drive engagement to reach important audiences, raising their profile and the importance of youth work
- Identify and plan new activity to engage current audiences and expand reach across their channels and platforms - including social media, newsletters, website
- Identify trends and insights to inform social media /digital strategy and spending
- Support the development and maintenance of the website
- Be able to identify and suggest opportunities to improve the user experience and user journey for the key audiences that use their website, and associated project websites
- Write strong, compelling and authentic copy that engages a range of audiences
- Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, advise and lead on the creation of engaging content, including videos and graphics, working with designers, where appropriate
- Work with the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator to monitor engagement and performance and identify recommendations and improvement
- Ensure their brand is correctly used in all marketing materials
