This makes our client’s system a vital component in the decarbonisation of UK buildings, a key element in the Government’s commitment to achieving net zero by 2050.
Our client’s technology be fitted in a new home or building, or retro-fitted to replace an existing gas or electric heating system. Installation is simple and easy – no boiler, plumbing or radiator pipework is required.
Our client’s system is particularly suitable for many of the property types that are unsuitable for heat pumps, creating a significant market opportunity.
They have a unique technology for the control system of infrared heat panels, which is patented. Our client is a British success story, manufacturing its system in its Yorkshire factory.
Description
Key responsibilities
- Generate and develop sales of heating systems selling through regional networks, including housing associations, Local Authorities, Councils, landlords, developers, house builders, installers, specifiers, architects and energy consultants.
- Key Target market focus of Social Housing, Councils, Developers and Housebuilders
- Provide solution packages with an in-depth understanding of customer’s needs, usages, and installation environments
- Work with technical support to create compelling installation plans
- Generate and respond to RFI, RFQ, and RFP requested from customers (with the help of a sales support team)
- New product introductions, find and build up business opportunities
Profile
- Previous experience of working in the heating or electrical systems sector would be advantageous.
- Proven track record of selling to social housing, Local Authorities and Councils, both directly and through installers, specifiers, architects and consultants
- Relevant knowledge and experience of construction related products
- Excellent communication skills including negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent network in sector and connections with key decision makers
- Highly focused on business targets
- Excellent team worker, self-driven and self-motivated
- Must possess a strong business acumen to understand and deliver the long-term goals
- Has the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment
- Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce or Microsoft 365.
- Good judgement – able to make practical and realistic decisions within scope of responsibility
Job Offer
- £50,000 – £60,000
