Business Development and Account Manager. IT MSP Sales. Commutable from Birmingham, West Brom, Dudley, Wolves, Lichfield, Tamworth, Coventry, Solihull, Warwickshire villages, Redditch, Bromsgrove and the M6/42 corridor.

£45,000 – £50,000 + 5K Car allowance + Benefits and commission. Double your basic OTE realistic once established.

Applause IT are working with and rising and well-established IT and Telecommunications Company who are looking to grow their Sales Team with one more experienced modern IT and managed services salesperson.

The Role:

Selling a range of modern IT, Cyber and associated technology to SMEs across central England.

You will be established in the industry and will use your contacts and leverage in house lead generation, to meet with and make proposals for the provision of IT support and cloud-based services on a win/keep/farm model.

Working directly with the MD you will carry out business development activities focused on securing recurring MSP contracts with businesses who have circa 50-100 + seats for IT business users and to then further develop these accounts with up selling and cross selling.

Required:

Circa 4-5 years + IT MSP Sales experience with sound account management skills and a head for new business hunting (dual role).

Using your excellent communication skills to build relationships, specify and close deals and maintain and grow these customer accounts.

Must have sold same or similar stack of modern IT solutions and services including:

Help desk Support and Maintenance contracts.

M365

Windows Server, PCs

Public Cloud – Azure and/or AWS

Back-ups

Networking kit – Ubiquity or similar

Sophos Anti-virus or similar

Datto

Virtualization (VMWare)

Desirable:

Dell

Cyber Essentials

Cloud based telecoms (3CX) and any Mobile contracts experience (Voda/EE) of interest
