Reed Financial Services is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager with a robust background in financial services. The successful candidate will spearhead our sales efforts, focusing on the delivery of DC & DB SSAS services. This role is pivotal in achieving revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and execute SSAS sales strategies to achieve financial goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK market
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with intermediary partners, clients, and stakeholders
- Tailor solutions to client needs, including liaising with Tax and Law colleagues
- Analyse sales performance metrics and KPIs to monitor success
- Uphold sales processes and best practices in collaboration with the New Business Team
- Generate reports on sales performance and market trends
- Collaborate with marketing, technical development, and SSAS administration teams
- Engage in product development and marketing strategy discussions
- Deliver presentations at various events and meetings, adhering to company best practices
- Contribute to PR and marketing programmes with written content for various platforms
- Act as a strong brand ambassador for the company

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of sales experience within the financial services sector
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Expertise in member-directed pension arrangements – SIPP & SSAS
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services
- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Customer-centric with a keen business sense
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Adaptable and receptive to change
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
