Business Development Manager

Job Summary:My client is recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This role is pivotal for developing new business opportunities in Ireland and Northern Ireland, managing a portfolio of existing restaurant brand customers, and coordinating the delivery of their products and services through their technical outsourced team and partners. As a representative of my client in Ireland and Northern Ireland, you will have the autonomy to drive value for existing customers and oversee operational delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities in Ireland with new brands.
  • Manage key accounts to enhance customer understanding, provide solutions, and resolve issues to achieve long-term goals.
  • Generate new business through close partnerships with key accounts, leveraging existing and potential customer networks.
  • Serve as the primary contact for handling customer needs.
  • Coordinate activities between Operations and customers.
  • Understand the technical aspects of my client’s solutions and customer systems (training provided).
  • Liaise with third-party partners and suppliers.
  • Oversee and monitor stock availability and supply chain solutions for Ireland.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in new business sales and pipeline development.
  • Ability to effectively qualify new opportunities.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Key Account Management.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in understanding and working with technology products.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work within a team, comfortable with performance measurement, achieving targets, and organizing work independently.
  • Ability to identify critical customer business needs and exceed customer expectations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Background in restaurant solutions or operations.
  • Knowledge of restaurant service and support, deployment, or Area Manager experience.
  • Experience or understanding of EPOS systems.
  • Understanding of operational processes in the QSR industry.
