Business Development Manager / BDMPrevious BDM experience within Aerospace/Defense OR/AND Education sector is essential for this positionLocation: Portsmouth   Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist organisation who because of success are growing the business.   As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing new business UK wide in specified sectors through both office and field sales.
  • Building and maintaining your own leads and target clients 
  • Managing & maintaining relationships with existing customers. 
  • Supporting in-house key client accounts under direction of MD.
  • Working collaboratively with Sales Team to maximize profits & sales opportunities.
  • Build a relationship with clients to gain an understanding of their needs.
  • Networking.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Presenting to stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Turn leads into active spending accounts by building and maintaining relationships.
  • Pro-actively grow your pipeline.
  • Generating new business opportunities through various channels

    The ideal BDM / Business Development Manager will have:

  • Drive and determination.
  • Previous BDM experience within Aerospace/Defence/Education sector is essential for this position
  • Will be able to multitask, be adaptable to change.
  • Will have good analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
  • Will be fully competent in using Microsoft Office.
  • Will have good communications skills.
  • Will want to develop within an organisation
