We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for a passionate individual who is committed to innovation, quality, and integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new customer accounts and promoting new products and services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Pursue new accounts and arrange meetings with customer buyers and NPD teams to facilitate the growth of the business.
  • Develop relationships with key purchasing contacts and NPD at customers, promoting new products and services.
  • Provide customers with required data for new products, liaising with the Sales office to arrange specifications, samples, and other information requested.
  • Liaise with NPD when new customer briefs are received, and quote customers as required using provided information.
  • Ensure that all necessary procedures within the company are followed, providing the sales admin team with relevant information for efficient order processing.
  • Work with the accounts team and sales office to ensure that customer credit terms are accurate and adhered to.
  • Maintain a high level of detail and accuracy to minimise mistakes and interact with the technical team to ensure customers receive the correct quality of goods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional personal appearance and the ability to maintain professional interactions with customers.
  • Accuracy and diligence when obtaining information and passing it on to the relevant department.
  • Good literacy and numerical skills, with a strong understanding of the company’s computer systems.
  • Ability to drive on company business in accordance with the highway code, ensuring safety for themselves and others.
  • Experience in Dried Food Industry is Preferred
