An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Business Development Manager to have global responsibility for our growth, diversification, development, and execution of new business opportunities as part of our strategy.

As a member of the CTO lead team, the role will contribute to decision making and strategy formulation to meet the objectives set by the CTO and the executive team, and plays an important role in developing and supporting colleagues within the function.

The main areas of responsibility include:

  • To oversee and set the direction for new business development activities, working closely with the CTO, executive team and the Board

  • Lead the end to end execution of identified opportunities from commercial, operational, regulatory and technical perspectives, in collaboration with functional teams

  • Providing supportive leadership to our significant growing Stable and Medical Isotopes businesses and ensure commercial and scientific value from centrifuge technology

  • The role will collaborate with Group Strategy & Corporate Development to identify and drive transactions (e.g. joint ventures, partnerships) including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, closing, integration and post-integration analysis

  • Collaborative engagement with Board and stakeholder management and various regulators management to manage new business opportunities effectively and compliantly.

  • Being part of our Lead Team to develop a viable long term business development strategy and shorter operational plans to deploy resources necessary to respond to external pressures, perform and achieve its objectives.

We are now looking for an individual who can make a difference and add value to our existing Team. The following skills and experience will provide an indication of the type of Team Player we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or equivalent degree / experience.
  • Experience of developing existing relationships and building new ones from a diverse stakeholder base (finance, competition, advisory, customer, supply chain, government, regulators)
  • Experience of running operational businesses or subsidiaries
