Role: Assistant Brand ManagerLocation: HARIBO Castleford, Head Office(Hybrid working- 3 days in the office and 2 days from home)- Occasional travel may also be requiredWorking hours: 38Salary: CompetitivePosition type: PermanentWe are on the hunt for an ‘Assistant Brand Manager’ to come and join the sweet life of HARIBO!This is a fantastic opportunity to take a sweet seat within out HARIBO UK&I Marketing department where you will sit firmly within our Brand team. This could be your opportunity to support with the creation of product and communication plans for the HARIBO innovation, Portfolio and MAOAM business. It doesn’t get more exciting than this…. you will 100% be the envy of all your friends and family!Within this role you will report directly into Alison, our fantastic Head of Marketing for Innovation, Portfolio and MAOAM. This could be your opportunity to make a sugary wave within the industry as you delve hand first into supporting the growth of our MAOAM brand as well as supporting comprehensive plans surrounding HARIBO UK’s product portfolio. We are looking for someone who doesn’t get into a fizz when it comes to delivering against growth targets and increasing business demands.How you’ll contribute to the mix:

  • Supporting with the management and implementation of MAOAM multi-channel communication plans including; always on social media, earned communication and campaign activations
  • Working closely with commercial and operational teams locally and globally to deliver tactical product initiatives
  • Supporting with the implementation of HARIBO product initiatives including; critical paths, new launch forms, amendments, pack tests and artwork approval
  • Conducting post-launch reviews of product and campaign work whilst also collating insights to help direct future products
  • Monitoring market trends, analysing data and competitor activity as well as collecting insights to support brand planning

Can you supply our essential ingredients?Are you currently operating within the Brand Marketing space with specific experience in both product development and consumer communication? If so, we would 100% love to hear from you!We are ideally looking for someone who has fantastic commercial and marketing acumen as well as real passion for consumer marketing! Strategic and critical thinking is also essential for this role, we are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to think outside the bag!To enable sweet success, we are also looking for the possession of strong project management, planning and delivery skills as well as a real eye for detail.  Are you able to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time? Are you enthusiastic and curious? You could be a fantastic fit for our role.The ability to work to and deliver on deadlines is also key, whilst being able to keep up with our fast FMCG pace. We are also looking for a strong communicator; due to the nature of the role you will be liaising with colleagues cross functionally therefore it is essential you’re able to adapt your approach.The extra sweet stuff:
