​Senior UX Designer – UK fully remote & Flexi-work. £70K plus benefits

This full service agency is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their Product Development team. The Product Development team focuses on applying the best agile and lean product management principles to create industry-first solutions for clients to help make their brands become more valuable to the world. Our vision is of rapidly creating prototypes and value driven product capabilities which are continuously improved by data and research-driven user-centered design.

The role will involve close collaboration with product and engineering teams – from product strategy and discovery all the way to front-end design and QA – you’ll shape the user experience of a number of high profile, strategic products.

Core Responsibilities

Solve design briefs by:

• Understanding the context, objectives, and constraints of a particular problem

• Devising user journeys and designing interfaces for key product features

• Designing and building prototypes to convey solutions to users, product owners, and engineers

• Delivering polished, consistent UI elements, components, and views to the engineering team. Work with client-provided design standards, tools, component libraries etc where applicable.

• Presenting solutions to key stakeholders in the business and external clients as needed.

Support the design team by:

• Leading and championing UX best practice within Data & Tech, in collaboration with the team’s Product Owners and other cross-functional innovation teams

• Conducting user research, interviews and testing for key features

• Identifying key insights and points of action with product and engineering teams

• Running design feedback/review sessions

• Conducting front end development reviews and design acceptance checks.

• Maintaining and contributing to product level design systems

• Using existing design patterns/components when appropriate

• Researching, testing, and implementing new design patterns/components when necessary.

• Translating product level branding and tone of voice to bring the product to life

• Contributing to and improving the design team process

Requirements

• Experience as a UX/UI designer, preferably within a digital product/service team

• Deep Expertise in Figma/Adobe XD, G Suite. Other visualisation tools e.g. Miro (preferably) or similar for rapid prototyping and collaboration.

• Proven experience creating / contributing to / maintaining design systems

• Strong experience in user research interviewing / testing

• Expert in workshop facilitation, and running design sprints

• Front-end development experience, or a proficiency in HTML/CSS

• Experience designing and building accessible web experiences

• A well curated portfolio showing a strong understanding of the end to end digital design process

• Experience in working closely with clients in problem and solution validation capacity. Work from and with existing component libraries and design standards.

• Ability to adapt, prioritise and compromise in collaboration with product and engineering teams

• Knowledge of Media Campaign lifecycle and management workflows

• Experience using JIRA or other requirements management systems
