We are looking for a Website Manager to join our small team, based in the lovely market town of Olney, Buckinghamshire!

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the website day-to-day and associated digital/apps platforms
  • Controlling, managing, and developing the website CMS to best practice
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the client's website
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues
  • Identify and respond to all website security breaches, ensuring that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with client brand strategy and meets the client’s standards
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites
  • Development and implementation of agreed digital strategies to support the client’s business objectives
  • Management of projects from concept through to delivery, to best practice, on-time, on-budget
  • Creative and constructive contributions to meetings with confidence to challenge; proactive, not reactive
  • Management and reporting of the website performance to agreed targets


About you:

  • At least four years’ experience within web management (ideally within an agency/small team environment)
  • Excellent knowledge of website platforms such as content management systems (Drupal, Sitecore, Terminal4, etc.)
  • Strong technical skills in HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • An excellent understanding of the digital industry, with a ‘can do’ attitude to find solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships
  • Good project management experience

You must live within a 45-minute commute of Olney for a work-life balance – happy post probation to agree on an element of satellite working.

Salary - £38-50K (depending on experience).
